History

Cheese was selected from a Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 seed pack by the Exodus collective in Luton, England, around 1988. Its uniquely pungent, sharp-cheddar aroma made it instantly recognisable, and clone-only cuts spread across the UK throughout the 1990s, defining the British cannabis aroma for a generation.

Sensory & chemical profile

Sharp aged cheddar, sour, skunky. 14–18% THC. Myrcene + caryophyllene + limonene.

UK medical relevance

Cheese-leaning chemovars appear periodically on the UK pharmacy catalogue. Reported by patients for chronic pain, appetite stimulation and anxiety.
